Without baptism invitations, no one will know you're getting baptized. It's cool if you just want to go out into the woods with your pastor to a secret lake and get baptized in the cool water in an intimate setting. That might be the most appropriate path to your spiritual growth. However, the most ideal path to your spiritual growth in the unified body, family, and essence of Christ is to gather together and congregate with his believers and let them watch your baptismal ceremony.

You can get a mega phone and shout it on the street, call random people in the yellow pages, and run up and down the street wildly, but the best way to alert your folks, friends, and invitees is to send them baptism invitations. There's nothing simpler than a pure, enlightened path toward spiritual growth through true growth in the Holy Spirit. The dedicated body of spiritual believers can accelerate this process. It's important to invite these kinds of people to your baptism so that they'll see that you're committed. Of course, the ceremony is only between you and God, but it should really be a public event that other believers can provide advice, opinions, and scriptural teachings on. Don't even think of inviting anyone negative to the baptism because those kinds of people will ultimately destroy your great comfort in the Christian life. People that profess to know Christ but instead practice rules have no place in your Christian life. It would be foolish, unwise, and imprudent to send them baptism invitations. Let them fend for themselves in a world devoid of free love and grace. They won't last long, and their judgment stick will come back to strike them.

Baptism invitations come in all colors, shapes, and sizes with all manner of adornments and decoration. White, pink, light blue, red, and yellow are common colors because they evoke images of purity, righteousness, heaven, blood, and laughter. Each is part of the whole when it comes to your Christian experience. Each card or envelope can express different elements of the feelings going through you as you go through various stages of maturity and development in your brilliant Christian life.

Get online, start looking for baptism invitations, and pick them out this very instant because your friends are in need of a good old fashioned spiritual showdown. What are you waiting for?

Teaching children can be difficult if no one is having fun. Both the teacher and children can be miserable. That's why so many teacher supply stores have opened on the Web in recent years. Many teachers have discovered that adding a few inquisitive (and fun) educational supplies to their classrooms brings better learning and a happier atmosphere for years and years. You can make learning fun for your students and improve morale for an entire classroom using just a few of these.Success Training that's not "Boring"Find teacher supplies that bring learning to life. What's better - reading from pages in a book or seeing the real thing? Children today are programmed to learn from what they see and hear. They watch television and videos, they play video games, use computers, etc. All these activities focus on seeing and hearing - not reading. Sure, children must learn to read their school curriculum. But why not add some interesting visual objects to the classroom to enhance what they are learning. Here are some examples:*Spanish Class: For an elementary Spanish class, give each child a Spanish beanbag. Have them read some Spanish text or memorize some words, and then allow them to shake the beanbag when they know the answer to a question. Another idea for this class is to teach them some songs in Spanish and let them make up simple skits using the Spanish language.*Math Class: If you teach an elementary Math class, use flash cards and have students compete to see who can tell the answer first. Students love games and competitions! You can also divide them into teams and give the winning team a reward.*History Class: For older students, use study slides with important events to teach dates, places and names in history. These help to simplify the memorization process when many dates and events must be studied for a test.*Algebra Class: If you teach an algebra class, you understand that some kids love it, some hate it. There are great books for teachers and parents to show you how to help all students learn algebra. One example is the helpful book titled "Helping Students Understand Algebra Step by Step."*English Class: For elementary English students that are just learning to read and write, use Phonics programs to boost learning. These have been proven by experts to work for years. All these classroom supplies and learning materials can usually be found easily at an online teacher supply site. And, there are many other classroom supplies and teacher resources to aid you such as congrats stickers, charts and seals, crowns, reward ribbons, teacher's aid DVDs, posters, maps, games, projectors, classroom furniture, etc.Helping Children Strive to do their BestUsing unique educational supplies, you can actually boost the morale of your students and create a great learning atmosphere. This helps you interact with students and get to know them one on one. You can help them achieve success in your class and many others to come. Use these products to create an environment where kids can excel. Set individual goals for each student on a weekly basis. Reward them for reaching their goals. If possible, have a set "game day" once a month where you and the students play a game just for fun. They will love you for it!Students need to know that their achievements are getting noticed. Use teacher supplies such as stickers and achievement ribbons to show them how proud you are. If you have a student that doesn't want to participate, allow him/her to be the one in charge on the team occasionally. Remember, leaders want to do their best and they expect it of their teams as well! These are just a few ideas to get you started with fun learning. You can find hundreds of teaching products and educational help aids at online teacher supply stores, and often at a great price.

Hospital Honey Adult

This costume includes headband, dress, belt with attached apron, and panty. This costume is available in adult sizes X-Small/Small, Medium/Large, and X-large. Thigh high tights, choker and shoes not included.

For something fun to do with your kids this Halloween, consider these edible Halloween crafts. Not only will you have fun in the kitchen putting them together, but your taste testers will certainly give these scary treats a thumbs up!

Cup o' Worms
This treat looks yucky but tastes great. You will finish with an edible cup of worms in real-looking "soil." This is a great party treat you can make with your child.

You will need:
Packaged chocolate pudding
Gummy worms
Cocoa powder (or hot chocolate mix)
Chocolate sprinkles (also called chocolate Jimmies) - optional
Clear plastic cups

Directions:
Make chocolate pudding and cool it in the refrigerator for a few hours. Put the individual portions into clear plastic cups. Let the top of the pudding remain rough looking. Sieve some cocoa powder on the top of each cup. Also add some chocolate sprinkles if desired. Place a few gummy worms in each cup to look like they are coming up through the pudding "dirt". Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Cup o' Fish
While this may not be a scary dessert, kids will be fascinated by it. You will simply be making an edible aquarium in a cup. This is a great party treat you can make with your child, and tell your guests they are "real fish!"

You will need:
Blue Jell-O
Gummy fish (or fruit-flavored sharks)
Clear plastic cups

Directions:
Make the blue Jell-O according to the directions on the box. Pour into the clear plastic cups. Let it cool in the refrigerator until partially set it, which will take about an hour. When the cups are partially set, place a few gummy fish in each one. Put them back in the refrigerator until they're completely set. Eat and enjoy!

Variations include:

For Frozen Fish-Popsicles, freeze the Jell-O in Popsicle molds and add the gummy fish when they are partially set. Be sure to un-mold very gently when entirely frozen. These are really messy to eat and are best eaten outside. Or try an entire Punch Bowl of Fish Jell-O, which is made like the Cup o' Fish, but in a large, clear punch bowl.

Brain Cell Delight

This is a gross-out treat that older kids will love to make!

You will need:
1 (6oz) blueberry Jell-O mix
1 carton (16oz) small curd cottage cheese
1 can (16 1/2oz) can blueberries in syrup

Directions:
Prepare Jell-O according to package directions. Chill until firm. Scoop cottage cheese into a bowl. Drain and set aside the syrup from the blueberries. Add the berries to the cottage cheese and mix well. Add food coloring to turn the cottage cheese a nice grayish color when blended. To serve put a couple of spoonfuls of Jell-O (congealed brain fluid) on a plate, some of the syrup on that, and a scoop of the cottage cheese & blueberry mix (brain matter) on top. Serves six.

Creepy Witches Fingers

You will need:
1 cup Butter, softened
1 cup Icing sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Almond extract
1 tsp Vanilla
2 2/3 cups Flour
1 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Salt
3/4 cup Almonds, whole blanched
1 Tube red decorator gel (optional)

Directions:
In bowl, beat together butter, sugar, egg, almond extract and vanilla. Beat in flour, baking soda, and salt. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes. Working with one quarter of the dough at a time and keeping remainder refrigerated, roll heaping teaspoonful of dough into finger shape for each cookie. Press almond firmly into one end for nail. Squeeze in center to create knuckle shape. Using paring knife, make slashes in several places to form knuckle. Place on lightly greased baking sheets; bake in 325F oven for 20-25 minutes or until pale golden. Let cool for 3 minutes. Lift up almond, squeeze red decorator gel onto nail bed and press almond back in place, so gel oozes out from underneath. You can also make slashes in the finger and fill them with red gel blood. Remove from baking sheets and let cool on racks. Repeat with remaining dough. Recipe makes five dozen cookies.

Laa-Laa Teletubbie Yellow Adult Halloween Costume

Teletubbies Laa-Laa Kids Costumes for a cute look that will be a huge hit this Halloween!! A Teletubbies Costume is guaranteed to make this Halloween one to remember!!

Often pet owners need to decide if they want their favorite little pet to go with them on their trip. On the other hand, should the cat or dog be put in a kennel for the short time they are gone?

Unfortunately, it must be noted that others will not care for your pet with the same attention and care as you do. While some hotels and motels can make provisions for pets, that is not certain. So your carefully planned vacation may be a disaster if you have difficulty finding a room. Also, it should be pointed out not every animal handles traveling well, and may get ill. Their misery will certainly be a cause for you not enjoying your getaway.

Every year more and more people use boarding kennels as a safe solution to this dilemma. Boarding kennels are not the same as breeding kennels (also known as training kennels) because they are specifically made to care for your pet and its needs.

Boarding your cat or dog with professionals whose business is to completely take care of your cat's or dog's health can let you have a stress-free vacation. And, by making the choice to board your cat or dog while there's time to evaluate what might be the premium boarding kennel, you'll then be prepared for an emergency, which might mean you need to find some place quickly to take in your pet. By selecting ahead of time a kennel it'll give you adequate time to see if this works out well for you, and that your dog or cat will adjust to it successfully. So in case of an emergency, you won't be worried as well about caring properly for your dog or cat.

Some may try and find friends and family to take care of their cat or dog while they're gone. However, boarding your cat or dog with pros who are trained to look (and care) after any unusual problems that can arise provides you and your pet extra comfort.

Boarding your cat or dog may prove to be a little vacation and an enjoyable change for your pet as well. Not only will he or she socialize with other pets but boarding kennels provide services such as training and grooming. Some pets that usually may only have infrequent access to areas for exercise and play will be in for a real treat if a kennel provides an outdoor run area.

These caregivers with their expertise and training are well suited to deal with the specific needs of your cat or dog. Though family and friends doubtless care and try to do their best, they will not always be able to handle any unexpected issues regarding the health of your cat or dog. Boarding is an excellent solution. With nearly nine thousand boarding kennels in Canada and the U.S. there's a wide selection to choose from. And with the uncertainties these days it is worth the time and effort to look into them.

Flower arranging today is more than merely putting together a bunch of bright beautiful flowers in a pretty vase. Much thought goes into the art of each professionally designed bouquet.

The artistic nature of flower arrangement means that no strict rules need to be followed by designers, but there are three very distinct styles into which arrangements can be categorised.

The three styles of flower arrangements

Professional florists would categorise the styles of flower arrangements as such:
Traditional, oriental and modern flower arrangements.

Traditional flower design, also known as Western flower arrangements, is the time-honoured common flower arranging style where the design is enriched with a large number of beautiful, colourful flowers. Apart from the vase in which the flowers are arranged, almost no other accessories are used in this flower style.

Oriental flower design is the general term used to refer to Chinese or Japanese styles, where the focus is mainly on the appearance of the arrangement. The linear style of Oriental flower arrangements emphasise the negative spaces, floral forms and the textures used in the arrangement.

Japanese flower arrangement, also known as Ikebana, focus on the line of the twigs and leaves, rather than on the flowers themselves like in Western designs. The line of the twigs or leaves is combined with a small number of blooms and the design is complemented by the style of the container which is also a key element in the Ikebana style.

Modern flower arrangements are the aesthetic use of clean, sleek lines, but generally all the styling depends on the likes and dislikes of the designer. The design of such an arrangement does not follow the traditional outline of arranging flowers. Instead the use of different accessories is combined with the minimal use of bright flowers. Modern flower arrangements make use of ornamental geometric motifs and clean-lined containers to carry the geometric theme through into everyday life.

Why choose a Modern Flower Arrangement?

The great thing about modern flower arrangements is that there really are no boundaries. This style of flower arrangement is appropriate for most occasions and it is well suited as a gift to both men and women.

Most online florists have a wide variety of modern flower arrangements ready to order, although some would warn you that same-day delivery might not be possible, therefore you should confirm with your florist before you buy these flowers online.

Modern flower arrangements work well as a corporate gifts. Their lines and designs compliment the interior design of most modern offices, reception areas, boardrooms, conference halls, hotels or even wine bars.

The bold sleek design of modern flower arrangements make a statement about the personality of your company which can make a difference in the perception your customers have of your business.

The style of modern flower arrangements makes a strong design statement. With attention to detail, the use of unconventional accessories, the creativity and energy of the design, choosing this flower arrangement style will say a lot about you.

Outdoor holiday lighting is truly exciting. Getting those holiday lights on your outdoor property can really help you get deeper into the Christmas spirit. Installing and using outdoor lights however are far different than with indoor ones. Here are some important tips to take note of to keep your holiday lighting installation and use both safe and enjoyable.

* Never use plain staples or nails for installing your decorative lights. These could cut through the wire and cause fraying. This in turn could endanger you and your property. As much as possible, settle for plastic clips that you can easily use on eaves, gutters and railings. If you really must use staples, make sure that they are the insulated type and that you do not cut through the wire.

* Never use indoor lights outdoors. Use only holiday lights that are specifically meant to be used for the outdoors. You should also strictly stick to manufacturer instructions on how to use your Christmas lights.

* Carefully check your outdoor holiday lighting even if newly bought. You shouldn't just keep an eye out for busted bulbs. You should also check for frayed wires, exposed wires or broken connecting sockets.

* All lighting sockets should be wrapped with electrical tape. This will ensure that there is no gap in between connections. The electrical tape can also ensure that water cannot get into the connecting points.

* You cannot just connect as many lights as you want. You also have to be careful with using limited extension wires for too many lights. You could cause a circuit overload that could lead to power failure. Light makers usually have safety guidelines on the number of lights that can be connected.

* Be careful with power lines. A tree you are decorating, your ladder or even your body could come in contact with a power line. You could seriously injure yourself and damage your property.

* Do not leave outdoor holiday lighting unattended. Only have them on if you are at home and awake. Make sure they are turned off before you leave home or before you retire for the night.

* Don't keep the lights attached way after the holidays. You may have had a hard time installing them all over the house. This may make you feel like wanting to enjoy your lights a little more. It isn't safe though to leave them out for long. The natural elements could gradually damage your lights and make them a hazard.

* Don't leave light cords and extension cords lying around loosely. People could trip on them. Small animals could also get entangled and choke. Keep the cords neatly to the sides and tie up any extra cord lines.

* You can enjoy your outdoor holiday lighting better if you do not have a big electric bill to pay. Lower your costs by using energy efficient lighting. Use LED bulbs. Aside from being energy efficient, they are also quite sturdy.

Keep your outdoor holiday lighting experience fun. Make sure you get the right kind of lights and materials. Make sure too that safety is always your top priority.

In these days, many people like tracing their roots, for it can not only enable them to know their ancestors and relatives, but also can bring to them great satisfaction and pleasure. Many people in these days can not resist the magnetic lures of genealogy.

Knowing one's roots can be a personally rewarding experience. In the process of tracing the roots, you can know well the family history and stories of the relatives, which grant you a treasure of opportunities to learn about their experiences, loves, skills, and preferences. Through unfolding the histories of the family, a family's culture and tradition can be studied in its fullest meaning. In addition, it can strengthen the solidarity of the family members.

Searching for the roots is not easy. It requires strong dedication and longing to unfold the past is necessary. There must be a deep commitment and sense of purpose, which must not diminish until the final lead has obviously been exhausted. After you finish, you will enjoy a sense of fulfillment and you may feel that your ancestors is just around you. Maybe a sense of disappointment will come to you, for so many remains unknown, but you want to know more.

Tracing the roots indeed gives you the sense of fulfillment and pleasure, but at the same time, you should realize that it may disrupt your comfortable and regular routines. In order to get enough information, you must spend much time talking with your relatives, listening to family stories and searching through old records, which may give you some answers. Moreover, you have to submerge yourself in libraries.

People who seek their roots through genealogy say the search is a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. Many people say it also helps them learn more about history. Their search not only brings history to life by making it more personal. It also gives them a better understanding of their family's place in history. And it gives them a better understanding of themselves.

Adult's Candy Worker Halloween Costume (One Size)

In most cultures, Halloween is believed to be the time when the line that divides the world of the living and the sphere of the dead becomes hazy. Supernatural phenomenon and events pertaining to the paranormal become a focal point of interest during this festival.

Needless to say, scary creatures rule out all other fascinations during Halloween. It is when we are reminded of our deepest darkest fears as kid, and our creepiest nightmares as adults. Scary creatures for Halloween don't come as a surprise, but despite that, they haven't failed to send us running while screaming like pesky frightened little toddlers.

I'm sure that everyone has feared one, two or even all of these scary creatures for Halloween. To round it all up, I've listed some of the scariest dark entities that cause the loudest screams during Halloween.

1. Boogeyman

The boogeyman has been the trump card of most parents to muffle children's tantrums. Although there are no accounts of this scary creature's appearance except for being an outlandish metaphor of terror, we have all been victims of this horrendous creature said to be hiding under our beds since childhood.

2. Ghosts

There have been many accounts of ghost sightings, and countless movies have been made about these scary creatures for Halloween. Ghosts are often depicted in films, stories and folklores as restless spirits of people who had untimely deaths. The description may already sound creepy, but first hand encounters with these scary creatures would send you running for your life.

3. Zombie

They may be portrayed as walking at a glacial pace, but better believe that zombies are not slow in inducing fear among the living. Zombie movies have stocked a lot of cash out of moviegoers dying to see a zombie dominate the world and likewise, trembling at the mere sight of these scary creatures for Halloween.

4. Dragons

These creatures may be portrayed as magical and mythical creatures, but that doesn't make them any less scary than any of the creatures listed here. With their humongous appearance, horrific serpent-like feature, and razor-sharp claws and incisors, dragons are topnotch when it comes to bringing to life the spirit of fright.

5. Werewolves

For a time, movies about men turning into wolves during a full moon have become the in thing in Hollywood. It is not really a secret that men, by nature, fear death, but dying in the hands of a werewolf would multiply that fear tenfold. The sight of a werewolf's sharp teeth, claws and fiery red eyes is enough to make someone scream to save his life.

6. Leprechauns

Leprechauns come in small packages, but their size is not to be undermined. These scary creatures for Halloween are so mischievous that they could make your life miserable because of the fear they cause. Just like how the film Leprechaun depicted them, Leprechauns hold a grudge on those people who would steal a coin from their treasure.

7. Krakens

According to myths and stories, seafarers fear and detest Krakens for drowning their entire troop. Who wouldn't be scared of a giant squid whipping out its tentacles to get you? A Kraken's enormous size and fearsome appearance is enough to give you second thoughts about going on a boat for a Halloween trip.

8. Ravens

Black is in during Halloween. Although ravens might be one of the blackest (literally) creatures on earth, you wouldn't want to see a flock of them this Halloween. According to traditions and folklores, a sighting of a raven would bring bad luck. Ravens are also said to be ghosts of murdered people. This is truly one of those scary creatures for Halloween that doesn't need to bite you to make you scream.

9. Vampires

They are classic scary creatures for Halloween. In almost every culture in the world, there is always a tinge of a blood-sucking entity. Vampires are undead creatures that go out at night on a killing spree. They suck the blood and life out of their victims to survive.

10. Poltergeist

You don't see them, but they're around you. Although only commonly known to seek attention from the living through making weird noises or moving furniture, Poltergeist could also be very aggressive and violent by hurling objects in the air and hurting people. There is really nothing scarier than being slashed by an unseen creature.

We've all had our shares of screams and wails of fright caused by these scary creatures for Halloween. Whether in movies or in close encounters, these strange creatures are made to bring fear.

Are you ready to scream this Halloween?

A Computer Engineering student and loves to travel. Reading current news in the internet is one of his past times. Taking pictures of the things around him fully satisfies him. He loves to play badminton and his favorite pets are cats.

Light Up Blue Fairy Dress Up Halloween Costume - Size Child Medium 6-8

When it comes to getting a tattoo we all know that it can be pretty pricey. With the economy getting worse everyday people have simply started to think twice about spending that money on something like a tattoo. Well it seems that a few tattoo studios came up with what they thought was a clever idea. These tattoo studios offered to give $30 Halloween tattoos all through the month of October. While this might be somewhat of a good idea, it can also be a bad idea.

For instance, picking out a tattoo design is very important and it's not a decision you should take lightly. However, if you are like me and love Halloween, than getting some sort of Halloween tattoo may not be such a bad idea. But if this would be your first tattoo I recommend holding out. Chances are if you got a pumpkin, black cat, skeleton, witch or some other Halloween character tattooed on your body as your first tattoo you will more than likely be regretting it before it even heals. But on the other hand if you are covered in tattoos and have a lot of them and you are trying to feed your addiction of getting tattoos than by all means go for it.

The moral of this story is...if it sounds too good to be true than chances are it is. However, if these tattoo studios were to offer any old tattoo for $30 I would say what are you waiting for..head down there now. Just remember this tattoo will be with you forever so think long and hard before you decide to get inked.

There is nothing more enjoyable than eating breakfast and watching birds flutter and dance outside the kitchen window on a snowy morning. Unfortunately, while children often wonder at the birds and wish to take part in helping to feed them, there is rarely anything a child can do to help. Here are a couple of suggestions to help them get involved and to let them make their own special bird feeders.

Most children hate eating crusts of bread, but birds love them. Next time, rather than tossing the crust, hand them over to your child with a pencil or straw and have them poke a hole through the slices, about 1 inch from the top. If they wish, food coloring can be used to lightly dab some color on their bread slices, letting them make special designs for their bird friends. The bread should then be left to sit on the counter overnight so that it will dry out. The next day, thread a piece of yarn through them, hang the bread from the branches of a nearby tree and watch feathered friends flock to their new bird feeders.

With a string of yarn, a straw, and some Cheerios, even small children can help create these fun bird feeders. Take the yarn (about 24 inches works well) and tie it around the middle of the straw. This will provide a base, allowing your child to thread the yarn through the cereal, not only making an effective bird feeder, but helping develop motor skills. When they have threaded the cereal up to the top, carefully hold the top of the string and then untie the bottom from the straw. Knot the two of these ends together, forming a circlet of cereal, which can be hung outside as a great bird snack. This can also be done using different colored fruit cereals, helping your child with repetitive pattern exercises.

Letting your child become more involved in tasks like this, not only helps them learn but gives them a sense of responsibility as well. Have them keep track of how long it takes for their homemade bird feeders, so they know when it will be time to make more. Have them make charts or draw pictures of what kinds of birds come to their feeders and let them look through books, to identify who their new feathered friends are. Not only will the birds thank you, but your kids will have a great time too.

James Hunt has spent 15 years as a professional writer and researcher covering stories that cover a whole spectrum of interest. Read more at http://www.birdfeeders-guide.info.

Lil' Penguin Deluxe Child

This adorable costume includes a bodysuit with character hood, attached wings/arms and foot covers. One size fits most children sizes 7-10.
Customer Review: Best Costume yet
Arrived when they said it would and looked just like it did online. The best part is that everyone at my daughter's school was completely "wow-ed" by the costume. She still wears it around the house for pretending - it's comfortable and holding up very well.
Customer Review: Nice gift
Sent it to my grandson, age eight, who had just done a Save the Penguins fund raiser for this birthday. He really enjoyed wearing it for Halloween.

Today Halloween is not only geared toward children but the growing number of adults dressing in costume is becoming increasingly higher. While children love to dress up as their favorite characters and walk from house to house trick-or-treating, the trend with adults is the same. They also love to dress up as their favorite characters, but instead of trick-or-treating they dress up for Halloween parties, costume contests, parades or even a night out of clubbing (bar hopping) during the Halloween weekend. Many club owners have extravagant costume contests with the winners receiving some great prizes. Halloween Costume Gothic Vixen Pirate Wench

Vixen Pirate wench with velvet double lace up corset dress.

With Halloween round the corner, shops are abuzz with great costumes and some are decidedly scary. However, most costumes overlook an important facet of personality that conveys a dramatic range of emotions with a single 'look'. We are talking about your eyes. No scary costume will work if the eyes are also not properly 'dressed up'. A real ghoul will scare the jeepers out of your friends and family members only if the eyes look actually ghoulish! Theatrical or special effects lenses are just the products to have a fun-filled Halloween.

These are special lenses, an offshoot from the normal contact lenses, which come in varied styles and colors. Picture yourself as 'Lestat' the Vampire, or the Werewolves and Vampires depicted in the 'Blade' franchise. Or perhaps you fancy yourself as 'Violet' or for that matter the good old Dracula. The 'white out' look popularized by the 'Evil Dead' series of movies as well as the various 'Exorcist' horror flicks are a great choice. The special effects lenses industry caters for all such types and even advertises them under the name of favorite ghoulish characters. You may want the traditional 'witch' or wizard look, aim for that 'wild animal' look or try Goblins and other mythical character lenses. Other really chilling eye lenses you don't want to miss are the Banshee, Black Wolf, Bezerker, Starburst, Zombie, Demon Eyes, Whiteout, Blood Red, Manson, Mummy, Cat eyes to name a few.

Wild Eyes and Crazy Lenses are some of the major brands out there in the market. A click of the search button will reveal many more brands with a huge library to choose from. At most shops selling special effect lenses, matching Halloween costumes are also available: a one-stop shop with all you want under one roof. You could also 'mix-n-match' and create your own scary look. For example, combining a vampire costume with cat eyes or a werewolf with a 'whiteout' mummy could give a real fright. If you buy the entire package, you may be in for special bargains too. The price of lenses varies from $35 to $100 depending upon the quality.

It is important to choose the right pair because these lenses, unlike normal lenses, cover the whole eyeball. These special effect lenses are either opaque or tinted and have a small aperture in them through which the wearer can see the outside world. So once you have a pair fitted it becomes difficult to move the eyeballs so skip the strain and take these out no later than three hours after you go on a Halloween rampage. Also to buy them you will need to keep a prescription handy, hence a proper eye care professional's advice is required when trying them on for the first time. As a general rule those with significant vision problems are advised not to wear these lenses. But then, fear not: even if you do have minor eye problems you may be able to wear these lenses but consult your doctor just to be sure. In any case most shops selling these specialty products have eye care professionals stand by to help you try them out. So this Halloween, pick those realistic, scary special effect lenses and go Happy Hunting. Trick or Treat!

With Halloween just around the corner, a comfortable pair of theatrical lenses can really add a lot to your costume!

If your family is like most, you have special holiday celebrations and traditions that you do every year. To display these holiday memories, create a scrapbook to show past years' celebrations. Whether your traditions include Trick-or-Treating, going to the mall to sit on Santa's lap for a picture, or preparing a special holiday meal, you'll have fun looking back to see how your family has changed from year to year while the traditions have stayed the same.

First, decide whether you want to place all of the holiday memories for one year into their own scrapbook album, or keep each holiday in a separate album that shows the change from year to year. You can start with your earliest photos and work forward, or start with recent years and work backwards. It's completely up to you; there is no one right way to make a scrapbook.

Now, gather all of your photos. If you're like most people, you've got boxes of them hiding somewhere. Bring them out, and look through them to pick out the best photos. Don't just pick out the portraits of your kids sitting on Santa's lap or smiling in their cute Halloween costumes. Choose the less formal ones of your family gathered together, too. These will be the memories you'll cherish for years to come. Pick the best photos from each holiday to include in your scrapbook.

Don't just include photos in your scrapbook. Gather together loved family recipes for the food and cookies you make for the holidays. If you have young children, include holiday-themed art that they've made at school, like turkeys made from handprints. Collect your holiday cards and programs from holiday events. Clip out advertisements for the toys your children want for Christmas. Anything related to your family's holiday traditions will be a great addition to your holiday scrapbook!

Once you've picked out the photos and other memorabilia you want to use, find background pages and embellishments. You can use holiday-colored cardstock for your backgrounds, or be creative and use scraps of wrapping paper or pieces of Halloween costume fabric for unique backgrounds. Layer different colors and textures to make a unique page. For a handmade Christmas background, try cutting out a green tree and painting on ornaments. Cut out a paper Jack-o-Lantern for a Halloween themed page, or draw a black spider web behind the photos.

Embellish your pages with everything from holiday-themed cutouts and paper punches. You can even find special paste that dries into 3-dimensional glittery snow. Decorating your holiday scrapbook doesn't have to break the bank. You can make your own embellishments, or choose from a whole array of ready-made decorations at your local craft store. Be creative! No two families celebrate the holidays in the same way, and your scrapbook should reflect your unique traditions. Add to your holiday traditions by bringing out your new scrapbook each year, looking through past years' celebrations together. It can be quite a treat to see past years' celebrations and watch your family grow from year to year. Once the holidays have passed, set aside time as a family to choose photographs to represent that holiday in your scrapbook.

Blueberry Girl Adult

Includes dress, bonnet, and stockings. Shoes and petticoat not included. Available in women sizes Small, Medium, and Large.

Millions of people display Christmas trees in their homes each year, and many of those trees feature the same decorations, year after year: round glass ornaments, traditional lights, some tinsel, and a star or angel at the top. After a while, the traditional decorations start to get a little boring! Why not spice up this year's holiday season with a themed tree decorated in a unique and unusual way? We've got some great tips and ideas to help you get started. Here are a few things you will want to consider in your quest for a new look.

Style:
While it is not necessary to decorate your tree to match the decor of your home, it is a likely result because your home and tree both will reflect your sense of style and decorating taste. You also want to make sure your tree looks like it belongs in your home; that is, you don't want a tree that looks "out of place" with its surroundings.

Color:
A complimentary color scheme between your room and the tree always creates a pleasant look. This does not mean that you have to match your room completely; however, some attempt to tie the colors together is always helpful. A room with black, brown, and beige upholstery and cream carpet looks wonderful with a tree with white lights and silver, white, and gold ornaments. A room with bright colored furniture and walls looks great with a tree and lights with bright decorations that coordinate with the furniture. When choosing colors, don't forget to have some fun!

Scale:
Keep in mind that larger trees need larger decorations. Just as it wouldn't look right to put 12 inch diameter ornaments on a 5 foot tall tree, it would also look strange to cover a 9 foot tall tree with tiny 1 inch ornaments. Remember that the size of your tree should also be in keeping with the size of the space. If you have a larger foyer or living room with a vaulted ceiling, choose a large tree that will make a grand impression. For smaller areas such as bathrooms or hallways, small tabletop trees can make an elegant statement.

Theme:
Now for the fun part-choosing the theme of your tree! If you have a special hobby or passion that you enjoy, don't hesitate to reflect that in a fun tree. For example, if you enjoy baking, put a tree in the kitchen and decorate it with cookie cutters tied with bright ribbons, colorful recipe cards, cinnamon sticks, and home made sugar cookies! If you have a collection of some type, a Christmas tree is a great way to show it off. For example, themed trees are very popular for people who collect model trains, cars, motorcycles, etc. Tie your collectables to the tree and use them as ornaments. If you have a child, make a special tree for their room decorated with things that children love. Some good choices might include color crayons, paint sets, small books, chalk, small cars and dolls. Of course, when decorating a children's tree, it is important to choose age-appropriate decorations. For very young children, be sure you don't decorate with anything that might be a choking hazard.

No matter what your preference, there are no limits to how you can express yourself with your Christmas tree. After all, it is a decoration your home and it should reflect you and your family's tastes! Get creative this Christmas season and think outside the box--you may truly surprise yourself with a wonderful result!

Once you've got your Christmas tree all decorated, you may want to leave it assembled to save time next year. Visit the Christmas Tree Storage Bag Shop to find a storage bag for Christmas trees.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo Costume Includes: Jumpsuit, turtle shell and character mask. Size 7-8.

Pump That Music. What would a party be without music? Now everyone's idea of party music can be different. Maybe your crowd likes pop -- or techno music. But for a Halloween party you'll want to throw in some classic Halloween favorites. Include the music from popular Halloween movies like Scream or even Friday the 13th. Don't forget the Monster Mash -- always a popular favorite. Organize your music ahead of time so you just push and play. Be sure to ask friends to bring along their favorites too so everyone has a chance to listen to their favorite type of music at the Halloween party.

Add Some Special Effects. No Halloween party would be complete without some special effects. You could add some cobwebs in the corners, complete with creepy spiders. Or get into the spooky fog by using some dry ice -- very easy for even beginners to use. There are many Halloween special effects you can purchase that you simply plug in and turn on that are lots of fun. Many are activated by someone walking past them. Check out your local party center for ideas.

Plan a Menu Suited for the Day. Every party needs good food and this includes a Halloween party. If your party is more casual, you could even do something like take out pizza and bowls of yummy snacks in strategic places. Or if your party is more fancy, try for something that really gets attention. The key to Halloween party food is to plan variety and to also be sure there is enough food for everyone to enjoy.

Include Spooky Activities. A Halloween party is the perfect time to tell ghost stories or even to hold a seance. Another fun idea is to have someone give tarot card readings. Or if you plan it right, you can do all three activities at your party! This would be a unique party that everyone would be sure to remember. Halloween is a time when many people are open to trying something a little unique and spooky that they might otherwise not do -- like a seance or a tarot card reading.

Tell Everyone to Dress Up. Who could imagine a Halloween party if people come in regular clothes? Halloween parties are simply meant to be costume parties -- each and every one of them. It can be fun to have a costume contest at your party -- or even a theme for your costumes like couples. There are lots of things that people can do with their costumes. http://www.pumpkinkits.com offers you all the ideas that you need for the best Halloween party ever - prepare to shock your friends!

Adult Disney Mr. Incredible Halloween Costume

Customer Review: Great
Got a lot of compliments trick-or-treating with my daughter. Lots of people said they wished they had it for a costume party!

Bachelorette party ideas can be overwhelming and you need to decide which theme you wish to go with and make the best out of it. The first thing to consider is the preference of the bride to be. You want to make her last night as a single woman pleasurable and worthwhile. A bachelorette party is therefore very vital at least to bid farewell to the girl who is about to have a different status. The first of many bachelorette party ideas is to spend a day or even a night at a spa. Whichever the location, having relaxed time with your girlfriends is invaluable. At the spa, you can have facials, mud baths, pedicures, massages, saunas, manicures and others. You are going to be spoilt and you will enjoy every minute of it.

Makeovers are great bachelorette party ideas because the most important thing for girls is to look and feel beautiful and what a better time than now when a wedding is near. You can have a professional make up artist come to the party and give you the best looks you can possibly have. Another party idea that has a lot of popularity is doing some pottery at a local pottery studio. The girls will have so much while undertaking this practical activity. Make the pottery for the bride to be after inquiring what kind she would prefer in her new home. You therefore do not have to be limited by ideas because you can break the norm and go all out to have fun and make the bachelorette party as superior as possible.

You can also have sporty bachelorette party ideas and the following idea will have the bride to be entertained. It involves spending the day at a baseball field with friends. Your friends will enjoy hot dogs, pop corn, ice cream, cotton candy and a variety of drinks. Another idea that you can never go wrong with is going shopping. You can either do it in your home town or you can go to other places for a greater and bigger experience. While shopping, you can undertake several activities like visiting the local restaurants of the states you choose to visit and experiencing their culture. A favorite destination to visit is Las Vegas where you know you will not be disappointed. From the food to casinos, the party will surely not end.

Other great bachelorette party ideas include having a pajama party. The Bride to be and her girlfriends can have an awesome night in pajamas. This does not mean they go to bed because the party has just began. In the party, there will be activities like watching a great selection of movies, games, showering of party favors not to forget great food and drinks. There will be decorations just like a real party. Girls share a lot until they fall asleep and these experience will bring back past experiences like sleep overs. Ideas will continue to get better for bachelorette parties. They will live to remember the night with nostalgia.

Newborn Baby Pea in The Pod Halloween Costume, 0-6 Months

Customer Review: Cheap
This costume was awful. Thank God we had a backup costume. The peas tear off easy and the fabric was very itchy. I hightly don't recomend this for any baby.
Customer Review: Pea Pod
I bought this for my 2 month old and he looked really cute in it. It is made as well as I would think a costume is. I would recommend this for very little ones(under 6 months) I don't think a baby over that could stand to be in it. When I got this it was size 0-9 months in size...

Yes, you heard correctly - different types of fudge, available just for you. Now, you might have thought that fudge is a simple and standard treat, one lacking some variety, yet this is actually far from mundane. Between all the options involved in fudge making, in terms of ingredient additions and fudge making creativity, there are literally endless amounts of fantastic fudge possibilities. There is quite a mixture of fudge assortments available for all chocolate lovers and sweet tooth individuals alike - and this is good news, especially if that plain chocolate style fudge was becoming a bit bland and boring to the taste buds.

Taste Bud Excitement With Fudge Anew

Beneficial for all sweet food fans is the way in which fudge has been spun around and given a bit of a makeover. Currently, several different types of fudge can either be made in kitchens or bought in grocers or candy stores. No longer is the regular chocolate type of fudge solely just available.

Now, with any type of normal fudge - the rich, smooth, chocolaty treat we're all accustomed to - there are your typical ingredients thrown into the delicious mix: confectioners sugar, butter, cocoa as well as some other essentials. Yet, know that ingredients can vary when the art of fudge concoction-ing is put into full creative swing. And this is where the beauty of fudge differences comes into everyone's realization. And the end result is a literal buffet of fudge with trays of types you've probably never even considered being in existence.

A Flood Of Fudge In All Ways Imaginable

Beyond the plain chocolate type of fudge that is most common there is an innumerable amount of fudge varieties, mixes, flavors and so forth. There are fudge options that come in different types of chocolate flavors as well. There is white, dark, marble and even raw (or organic) styles of chocolate fudge. Now, within all of these previously mentioned types there are also even more variations. Add to any or all of these flavors the addition of fillers.

Fillers here can come in any form and can range in anything ingredient-wise from nuts, to chocolate chunks, to candies, to cream cheese, to peanut butter, and to (beyond some belief) some types of fruit. With nut fillers expect to be eating some fudge with pecans, almonds, peanuts, cashews and many other types of nuts in the mix.

Fudge of Unique and Deliciously Odd Recipes

Now, some fudge is very unique with what is added to it's normal mixture and baked inside it. And it's important to note that with creativity, any sort of confection can be created, especially involving the act of making fudge. There are fudge types that creatively have mixed within them such odd additions as coconut or even fruit. Coconut isn't too far fetched. But, fruit? Actually, with some fruit like raisins or cranberries mixed in a fudge confection the taste is surprisingly scrumptious and can provide all sweet teeth and surrounding taste buds with a little something different to experience.

Just know that fudge doesn't have to be boring or plain anymore, not with types so diverse as key lime pie, cookies and cream, chocolate coconut almond and dark chocolate orange.

COLOR CHOICES - Striped Arm Warmers - Fun and Contemporary

These cool arm warmers are not only functional they look COOL too! Are really fun to dress up a Halloween Costume as well!
Customer Review: Stylish and warm!
I actually bought these for school. LOL I am a college student and a stay at home mom, so I am taking the majority of my classes online. Unfortunately, my study is frigid and my hands were freezing while I was trying to type up research papers and English essays. I tried gloves with the fingertips cut out, but no matter how thin it was, the material in between my fingers severely hindered my typing skills. When I came across these arm warmers, I couldn't believe my luck! I quickly ordered a pair and they are perfect for what I need! I now want several more pairs!
Customer Review: Unbelievable price
Same Leg Avenue item as many other merchants with an incredibly low price! Fit well, easy to use (thin yes, but what do you expect for the price?). Will be buying more. Thanks!

Your teenager is long past the time when a few rags sewn onto his old jeans made for a really cool mummy suit. So how in the world do you come up with an idea for a cool Halloween costume he'll actually wear in public? In this article we're going to show you how to create a cool Halloween costume any teen would be proud to wear to their next ghoulish festivity.

The Biker Teen

Rev it up with a cool Halloween costume that will turn your sweet child into the baddest biker on the block. Some black jeans paired with an old t-shirt (sleeves cut off or rolled, of course), and topped off with a great leather bomber jacket found at your local discount or thrift store, turns your teenager into a bad-to-the-bone terror on two wheels. Slick back his hair with a little gel to complete the effect, and dab on some "facial hair" using a sponge and brown crme makeup.

Punk Rocker Costume

Son not quite the biker type? Wants to spice things up with a bit more attitude? Try a great punk rocker look for a really cool Halloween costume that's as easy to make as it is great to look at. The look is easy enough to obtain - just some ripped up jeans and a rock-themed shirt; but the true "cool" in this Halloween costume comes from the spiked hair! If your teens hair is long enough, then the spikes will be easy enough to create; otherwise, you may need to purchase a wig just for the occasion.

To create the spikes, a combination of hair gel and white school paste is used. The trick is to first slick the hair with hair gel, and allow to dry completely. Next, take the white paste in your hands just as you did the gel, and pull sections of hair up into tall spikes on top of your son's head. You will need to work the spikes upward with your hands until they become tacky, at which point they should start to stand on their own.

The Doubtful Heiress

Hey - it isn't just the boys who want a cool Halloween costume to show off at their next party, your daughters are going to want to have their moment of fame, as well! The "Doubtful Heiress" costume is one of the most popular costumes when it comes to teen girls, and the look is as easy to create as a quick trip to your local thrift store. An assortment of rag-tag clothing in various sizes, colours and patterns is most all that is needed for this costume; paired with several strands of faux pearls and other costume jewellery (the more the better in this case). A teased hair-do finishes the look, and a giant handbag filled with "goodies" makes a great accessory.

Creating a cool Halloween costume for your teen is really more about being as original as possible than trying to be scary. Thrift stores and garage sales are the perfect places to find your bits and baubles for these really cool costumes; which means your teen will be happy, and so will your pocketbook.

Sexy 3Pc Proper Nurse Uniform Halloween Costume by Leg avenue

Do you remember the good times when you had during the 50's? The decade when Rock and Roll was born? The decade that meant good times is just starting? The fly, the twist, the mambo jambo, the rhumba, the La Bamba, the Boogie and those other wild crazy dancing? What about the fashion? Do you remember what it's like during those times? During this decade, the raw materials of Scottish tweeds and English worsted suit materials were renowned as being of exceptional quality.

The wools were also used by the French and the British did everything they could to promote the fine materials with fine designs. The result would be 1950s glamour. But before that, 18-year-old girls used to dress up as if they are older than their mothers and with the revolutionary style of the late 1950's, out-of-style fashion and elaborate designs came out with a rampage. Wouldn't it be fun to relive those 1950's fashion even just once every year? How about this coming Halloween? You can even opt to celebrate it wearing the Fifties Halloween costumes.

If you're thinking about 50's-styel Halloween costumes, perhaps, the closest thing that you're going to get is an Elvis Presley costume. The King of Rock n Roll was famous not only for his cornerstone fusion of rock n rolls, country, rhythm and blues and gospel music, but he was also famous for the clothes that he wore.

Even up to now, you can still see some traces of Elvis influence wherever you go. Why, even making the collar of your sports shirt stand from one shoulder to another reaching both of your ears is a sure sign of Elvis-style clothing. Costumes of the King of Rock and Roll are always in high demand and this has been further fueled by both Stag Night parties and, more lately, cricket fans where you commonly see a whole group of Elvis running around either swaying their pelvis or just walking cat-style.

Elvis has always had a distinctive style and any age group will surely be fascinated by his guts of being different from the rest. And even in any different occasion or just on ordinary days, people find themselves fancy a clothing style influenced by Elvis.

Today, a lot of costume retailers have a wide selection of Elvis and other 50's, late 50's and early 60's costumes that will surely make heads turn during the Halloween event. There are even some available elaborate Elvis costumes that would tickle the fancy of show performers and impersonators anywhere.

But always remember, you don't have to be expensive to be genuine and a stand-out. You can just dress up an early-Elvis costume that's made up of skinny fit jeans, white tee, black jacket, a gel-style combed-back hair and a pair of stick-on sideburns and you is done.

But what if you don't want to be like Elvis? Well, you don't have to miss out the Halloween fun just because you don't want to look like The King. Cats can wear jeans with turn-ups, the same white tee and swept-back "greased" hair and the chicks can go around with clam digger trousers, tight jumper and a chiffon scarf worn in the hair and if you think that the sun still shines on you even if it's night time already, go and get some 50's-style dark sunglasses.

So, whether you want to be like Elvis, Fats Domino, Ritchie Valens or The Platters, for sure, you can find these Fifties Halloween costumes to be a stand-out in the crowd, whether you bought it offline or online or you might have made one for your own by yourself.

Sexy Halloween Costume Nascar Racing Costume by Leg avenue

One of the best memories of high school or college would definitely be the great teachers we had. And our teachers were all great in their own way-some of them just said all the right things to make us laugh on dreary days, others were just geniuses that awed us with their knowledge and inspired us to do better, and others were just our best friends in our most trying times. Truly these kinds of people are what made of days at school worth all the headaches and more.

But then again there were those not-so-great teachers that were completely ineffective at what the did. Some of them were absolutely ineffective mentors, others were extremely biased in their grading, and the worst of them all abused their powers. And when you're trapped inside a classroom with a bad teacher there are only so many things that you can do. But all is not lost! Here are a few things you can do to get rid of that bad teacher of yours:

l File A Complaint: Most likely, if a teacher is as bad as you paint him to be, then this experience will be shared by many other members of the student body. So it would be best to use the powers that are available to you and to file a complaint against this teacher. Ask your classmates to help you out with this if you can so you can get an unbiased report of why your teacher is failing at what he does.
l Make A Petition: Because all of you are suffering due to the lackluster education you are receiving then it would be best to make it known. List all your grievances and sign the petition all together. This is the perfect accompaniment to a formal complaint. Sexy Sequin Mermaid Siren Sea Nymph Halloween Costume by Leg avenue

How can you motivate a child to learn? Your lesson plan is a good place to start. Children have many different ways of learning and you as the new teacher, can channel their learning styles. You will need to learn over a relatively short period of time, what makes your student 'tick'.

Catering for different learning styles is challengingsince different students will require different ways of learning.

You will need to build a student profile of each learner in the beginning. One ways to do this is by distributing questionnaireson learning styles, which will ultimately help you as the new teacher cater to the four major types of learning styles.

Here are a few of the major learning styles that you can incorporate in your lesson plan.

The kinesthetic learner

This type of learner learns through the tactile response by touching and feeling. Providing ABC letters in different shapes and textures, blindfolding the children and encouraging them to make guess which letter they are holding reflects this kind of learning style. For older learners, try offering them a word backwards and ask them to guess.

The Visual Learner

Try motivating this learner via visual and non textual clues such as graphs, charts or media and assorted visuals such as a power point presentation or just using a general picture. Aim for age appropriate visual aids with stimulating and motivational content. Once the students have absorbed the visual aids (usually after a few minutes) you can have a question and answer session. For ESL class, prediction is an effective technique to motivate students to read.

Auditory Learner

Try using using jazz chants and sing-song approaches to introduce new vocabulary.

When you know how to cater to different learning styles, you will be able to maximize your chances for motivation. The ultimate payback will be giving your students the love of learning.

The costume is great, but it didn't come with a tail. Nothing in the description said it wouldn't come with the tail. Other than that it's okay.

Toddler Cowgirl Halloween Costume (Size:3-4T)

Throughout the history of television, Superman has long since proven to be a repeatedly successful franchise. In the 1990's, when LOIS AND CLARK debuted on network television, many critics assumed it would be short lived. The critics erred as this program turned out to be very successful both in viewers and quality. So, it is no surprise that Superman would be tapped again for a television series. Well, actually, it would be "Superboy" who would be tapped as a new series dubbed SMALLVILLE centered on the life of Clark Kent as a teenager in a Middle American town.

Superboy

The "Superboy" concept was a major departure from most Superman programs and it was considered somewhat of a risk. (There was a Superboy pilot shot in the 1950's but it never aired and the series was scrapped) Then again, the popularity of superheroes in the movies opened the door for more creative ventures and SMALLVILLE was launched. And, yes, it was an excellent program and there are many excellent SMALLVILLE episodes.

Smallville

The focus of the program centered on a young Clark Kent's slow discovery of who he is and what his place in the world may be. This created a very strong emotional link with many member of the viewing audience. After all, everyone struggles with their own identity when they are teenagers. These struggles can be additionally complex when the teenager is different from his peers. No, there are no teenagers that have to struggle with being an alien from a distant, destroyed world. (Well, none that we know of!) But, this struggle that a young Clark Kent must face is symbolic of all struggles many teenagers go through. It is this emotional chord visible through the entire SMALLVILLE episode guide that makes it so popular. Now do you realize why SMALLVILLE DVD sales are so strong?

Smallville Seasons

This theme is most evident in SMALLVILLE SEASON 7 where Clark must use what he has learned in his (brief) life experiences to help his cousin Kara. Kara, having also been born on Krypton, is dealing with the same dilemma that Clark had dealt with. That is, how does she fit in as a stranger in a strange land? Unfortunately, she is unable to and her bizarre and erratic behavior encompasses much of SMALLVILLE SEASON 7.

In a way, this flawed relationship between Clark and Kara is symbolic of the paths people take in life based on the decisions they make when they are young. Kara's choices are wrong and nothing Clark says or does can dissuade her. That is just the way life works out sometimes.

Interrelationships between Smallville Characters

Therein lay the success of SMALLVILLE. The program is not so much about superheroes as it is about the interrelationship between characters. Yes, there are a number of heroes and villains who make appearances throughout the program. Yes, there are a number of action sequences and over the top plotlines that comprise the series. In the end, however, the success of the program centers on how it humanizes its characters and provides them with sense of depth not seen in hero programming before.

In a way, these superheroes are very real people underneath. That is the aspect of the program that makes it so compelling. Programs of such quality are rare. That is why this incarnation of Superboy where the 1950's version was immediately forgotten.

This is an article written by one of our Smallville fans of the Smallville Gemzies. For many years now, we've had a green Christmas. Rarely have we woken up to a city blanketed in white. I'm quite certain this year will be no different in the weather department. On the other hand, going green this holiday season and every year thereafter should be looked upon more seriously.

Every year around the holidays there is excess trash filling the landfills. It's essential to our environment to decrease our garbage and each individual should do their part in reducing, reusing and recycling.

Here's how you can help and do your part in being eco-friendly this holiday season and thereafter.

1. Recycled paper. If you must buying greeting cards, wrapping paper, gift bags and other paper products, buy paper made from recycled paper. Reuse old greeting cards as gift tags, make them into confetti or use them to decorate homemade cards and other crafts. Do something creative like use newspaper, magazines, paper bag or bubble wrap to wrap gifts.

2. Use containers. You can use containers with or without the lids. Jars, vases, tins, baskets, and Tupperware are all great items to wrap gifts in. Line the container with fabric instead of tissue. Another green option is wrap it up in a canvas bag and decorate it with ribbons. All these items are reusable.

3. Give green, go green. Think eco-friendly when it comes to gift giving. Give tickets to a play, ballet or to the symphony. Make homemade gifts like baked goods, scrapbooks, picture frames, needlework etc. If you're choosing to buy a gift, go with natural products like wood, clay and bamboo. Buy chemical-free, toxic-free and natural and organic items.

4. Compost box. Throw your kitchen waste into a compost box. Vegetable peelings, grass clippings, leaves, crushed egg shells, tea bags, coffee grounds and paper all makes for a rich soil that can be used in your flower and vegetable garden. Don't put cooked or raw meat products as it will attract animals.

5. Tree decoration. Decorate your tree with string popcorn, paper chains, berries, acorn, pinecones, and candy canes. Make ornaments with tin foil, popsicle sticks or make gingerbread and use different cookie cutters for different shapes. Use different materials such as satin, lace or silk, ribbons and bows.

6. Leave the car at home. Go for a walk with the kids, get some fresh air and some exercise. It reduces stress and clears your mind.

There's no time like the present to go green. Make it your choice to reduce your carbon footprint today because it will make for a better tomorrow and for your future.
